Over at the Comics Reporter, Tom Spurgeon offers five—prompts, I guess you could say, for thinking about where comics is and where it’s going in the new year.
All five are circling around the same set of issues that motivated the Work in Comics project: does making comics offer a decent livelihood for those who are expending their talents and best years at it? How might we shape the industry and its institutions to maximize the quality of work available to the people who make the comics we love to read?
